Monitoring learner progress

At Language Services Direct we recognise the importance of monitoring learner progress, not only for motivational reasons, but to ensure that our language training is providing a return on your investment. 

Progress can be monitored in a number of different ways and, as with all aspects of our service, we adopt the method most suited to your business requirements:

Regular Progress Reports

Learners (plus the L&D department and/or line managers if required) are provided with formal written progress reports at the end of each module of training. The frequency and format of these reports is agreed with each client in advance of their language training programme commencing; and the information included in these reports tailored to the needs of your business and the individual learner. 

Internal tests and exams

Where appropriate, learner progress can also be benchmarked through our own internal examinations and tests which we tailor to the needs of your company or the individual learner. These examinations typically consist of three elements: a role-play, a listening comprehension and a written test.

Formal Qualifications

Language Services Direct can prepare learners for recognised formal qualifications. In the past our trainers have prepared learners for a range of examinations including:
